Use your WiFi card in Adhoc mode

This is definitely the easiest way to set up a Beouifi.org hotspot, as there is no need for dedicated hardware.

Take advantage of an access point

An access point (AP) is a device specifically designed to handle wifi network (Looking for a more precise definition ?). Using an AP will lead you to more broadband and a wider range. Moreover, you'll create a hotspot that potentially interoperates with any kind of wifi capable device.

There are essentially two ways to create a Beouifi.org hotspot with an AP, depending on which interface you're using to connect to the Internet.

You're connected to the Internet through your private Wifi network
